The geophysical disturbances during the total solar eclipse of 1 August 2008 in Novosibirsk, Russia

The results of the observation of the geophysical disturbances in ionosphere, atmospheric electrical field, magnetic field, surface ozone and infrasound during the total solar eclipse of 1 August 2008 in Novosibirsk are presented. The eclipse effect is more in evidence (1) for ionospheric parameters as decreasing of the critical frequencies up to 30–45% in different layers, (2) for the vertical gradient of electric potential as complex negative anomaly with amplitude change of more than 100% and (3) in concentration of the surface ozone as decreasing up to 15% and with a time lag of 15 min. The effect in magnetic field is less clear and it is detected only by the comparison with magnetic data of other observatories.
