A delegation of scientists from China visited IKIR FEB RAS within the framework of the Agreement on international cooperation

During the Chinese-Russian Symposium on Space and Geophysics in Kamchatka, scientists from the National space science center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chengdu University of Technology, Institute of Earthquake Forecasting of the China Earthquake Administration, Institute of Geophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences together with the researchers from IKIR FEB RAS have discuss the following issues:

- electrostatic and geophysical monitoring of the Earth;

- impact of seismic and solar activities on the atmospheric electric field;

- application of different analysis methods for investigation of ionospheric disturbances;

- impact of space weather on flights, etc.

The meeting was concluded by an excursion to Dachnye hot springs.
