Software "SMCC – calculation of cascade model coefficients» has been developed
Authors: Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of physical process modeling of IKIR FEB RAS, Cand. of Sci. (Phys.-Math.) Vodinchar Gleb Mikhailovich, and the Researcher of the Laboratory of physical process modeling of IKIR FEB RAS, Cand. of Sci. (Phys.-Math.) Feshchenko Lubov Konstantinovna.
The authors develop a technology for construction of one type of small-scale turbulence models. Each of such models is a system of ordinary quadratic nonlinear differential equations. Development of a new cascade model requires quite complicated analytical transformations. By varying the non-locality measure and the conservation laws, different parametric classes of cascade models are obtained. They have required analytical properties. After system construction and solution, linear interactions coefficients turn to be linear combinations of some set of free parameters.
The software calculates free parameters, the interaction coefficients of which are consistent with interaction probabilities. The obtained cascade models with concrete numerical solutions can be further studied directly by numerical methods.
The results of this work develop and generalize the authors’ results in case of complex collective variables. They will be applied for further numerical investigation of cascade modes.
