Agreement on scientific research cooperation has been concluded between IKIR FEB RAS and TsGM NAN of Belarus

Government Agency «Geophysical Monitoring Center» of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (TsGM NAN of Belarus) was established in 2001.

The primary objective of the Center activities is to conduct specialized geophysical monitoring of hazardous geodynamic phenomena and processes, seismic events of both man-made and natural origin, variations in the Earth's geomagnetic field, and other associated parameters. The Center observation units operate continuously, around the clock.

The Agreement on cooperation was signed as the result of experience exchange between Kamchatka and Belarusian scientists in the cource of the XIV International Conference «Solar-Terrestrial relations and Physics of Earthquake Precursors» which took place in IKIR FEB RAS (Paratunka, Kamchatskiy kray) from September 29 to October 3, 2025.
