Researchers from IKIR FEB RAS participated in the Republic Scientific Conference “Modern methods of mathematical physics and their applications” in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan
The event took place on April 22-25, 2025 on the basis of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek and was jointly organized with the Romanovskiy Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a branch of the Lomonosov Moscow State University in Tashkent, Ghent Analysis and PDE center (Belgium) and International Scientific Journal “Science and Innovation”.
The scientific conference was devoted to the 80-year anniversary of the academician Alimov Shavkat Arifdzhanovich, a known scientists, major scholar in the field of mathematical physics and functional analysis who made great contribution into the spectral theory of differential operators, theory of boundary problems for the equations of mathematical physics and harmonic analysis.
In the course of the conference, topical problems were considered as well as current state of scientific investigations in the field of boundary problems for differential equations of mathematical physics, fractional calculus, mathematical modeling and numerical mathematics.
IKIR FEB RAS was represented by:
- Parovik Roman Ivanovich, Dr. Sci. (Phys.-Math.), Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Physical Process Modeling;
- Tverdiy Dmitriy Aleksandrovich, Cand. Sci. (Phys.-Math.), Researcher fo the Laboratory of Electromagnetic Radiation.
Tverdiy Dmitriy made a presentation “Estimation of radon flux density changes by hereditary mathematical α-model before and after a strong earthquake in Kamchatka” and “Modeling of propagation effects of EM radiation of lightning origin in the vicinity of nonuniform conductivity region on the ground surface”.
Parovik Roman made a presentation “Solution of non-local boundary problem of diffusion-convective transfer of radioactive materials in lithosphere-atmosphere system”.
Roman Parovik’s students also made their presentations at the conference: Salimova A.I. “Investigation of dynamic modes of fractional Van der Pol-Airi oscillator by bifurcation diagrams” and Alimova N.B. “Bifurcation diagrams of fractional FitzHugh-Nagumo oscillator with variable coefficients and memory”.
The presentations were rated highly by the conference participants.
