The Researchers of IKIR FEB RAS participated in the International Scientific Conference ''Mixed-type equations and related problems of modern analysis''

The Leading Researcher of the Laboratory of Modeling of Physical Processes, Parovik R.I., the Researcher of the Laboratory of Electromagnetic Radiation, Tverdiy D.A. and the Programmer of the Laboratory of Acoustic Research, Sergienko D.F., participated in the International Scientific Conference “Mixed-type equations and related problems of modern analysis”. The conference was organized on the basis of the Institute of Applied Mathematics and Automation KBSC RAS in Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, Russia, on March 11-14, 2025, within the framework of the Science and Technology Decade announced in Russia for the years of 2022-2031.

The Conference was timed to the 120th anniversary of the birth of an outstanding scientist in Mathematics and Mechanics, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Doctor of Engineering Sciences, Professor Felix Isidorovich Frankl.

This Conference was aimed at renewing and continuing the tradition of bilateral international symposia “Mixed type equations and related problems of analysis and informatics” regularly held since 2003: Russian-Uzbek symposium (2003, 2012), Russian-Kazakh symposium (2004, 2011, 2014), Russian-Azerbaijani symposium (2008), Russian-Abkhaz symposium (2009), Russian-Bulgarian symposium (2010).

In the course of the Conference topical problems were considered as well as the current state of scientific investigations in the field of boundary problems for differential equations of main and mixed types, fractional calculus, functional analysis and function theory, mathematical modeling.

A special scientific session “Boundary problems for loaded equations” was also hold timed to the 70th anniversary of Anatoly Kh. Attaev, the head of the Mixed-type Equations Department of IAMA.

Parovik Roman made a plenary presentation “Dynamic modes of fractional Selkov oscillator with non-constant coefficients”. Tverdiy Dmitriy made the presentations “Application of hereditary mathematical OAR model to estimate radon flux density before and after a strong earthquake in Kamchatka” and “Modeling of atmospheric propagation effects in the vicinity of a region of inhomogeneous conductivity on the Earth’s surface”. Sergienko Darya presented the report “Investigation of numerical methods efficiency to solve the mathematical model of high-frequency geoacoustic emission”. All the presentations were highly appreciated by the participants of the Conference.
