Open day occasioned with Youth School

   III Students Scientific-Educational Kamchatka Physics School with international participation was organized on the basis of the «Voskhod» Center for gifted children at Yuriy Gagarin Children Resting Camp on 9-13 October 2023 within the framework of the «Prioritet 2030» Program for strategic academic leadership.

   The organizers of the School are: Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Radio Wave Propagation of the Far Eastern Brunch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Kamchatka State University by Vitus Bering, Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Kamchatka Branch of the Federal Research Center «Geophysical Survey» of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Institute of Volcanology and Seismology of the Far Eastern Brunch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Regional State Autonomous Institution for advanced professional education «Kamchatka Institute of Education development», Regional State Autonomous Institution «Educational Center «Evrika».

   The aim of the School was to stimulate the scientific and research activity of students, to exchange scientific ideas and investigation results, to involve schoolchildren in scientific investigations. The Program included lectures, practical classes, excursions to scientific organizations of Kamchatskiy kray and master classes. On 10 and 12 October, the participants of the School visited IKIR FEB RAS. Lectures, excursions and master classes were organized for them.
