Solar-Terrestrial Relations and Physics of Earthquake Precursors

Themes of the Conference:

• atmosphere physics (including solar activity impact on atmosphere dynamics);
• geophysical fields and their interactions;
• physics of Earthquake Precursors.

All-Russian Youth Scientific School «Geospheres and Space»

    Youth Scientific School will be hold within the framework of the Conference where a competition of young scientists’ presentations will take place. Young researchers, the papers of which are accepted for the Conference (may be a coauthor), are invited to participate in the competition. Students of senior years (from the 4th course) of universities, master’s degree students, postgraduates and candidates for a doctor’s decree of universities, young scientists, teachers and specialists up to 35 years old may be the participants of the Youth School. The essential condition is the personal presentation at the Conference.

Forms of Presentations:

• personal participation with oral presentation;
• personal participation with a poster;
• due to the international situation, on-line participation is suggested only for the participants from abroad.

    The program will include plenary (30-minute) and oral (10-minute) presentations and posters.

Preliminary Schedule of the Conference:

• September 29, 2025 – registration of participants, plenary presentations;
• September 30 - October 2, 2025 - session presentations;
• October 3, 2025 - excursions.

Accommodation: Participants will be accommodated at the Hotels of Paratunka.

    Abstracts will be published by the beginning of the Conference. If a presentation has been made at the Conference, on the decision of the Scientific Committee and if an author agrees, selected reports are supposed to be published in one of the Journals: 

• Springer Proceedings in Earth and Environmental Sciences» (https://www.springer.com/series/16067), indexed in Scopus. Depending on the number of applications for publication in the Journal, limitations for a manuscript volume will be determined after making out an overall proposal. The publication is free of charge and papers are published in closed access.
• A special issue of the scientific Journal «Bulletin of KRASEC. Physical & Mathematical Sciences» (http://krasec.ru/en/) included into the list of State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of Russia. The volume of a manuscript, formatted according to the requirements of «Bulletin of KRASEC. Physical & Mathematical Sciences», is up to 15 pages. The publication is free of charge and papers are published in open access. 

Registration and abstract submission will be opened on March 10, 2023 at http://conference.ikir.ru

Key dates:

• March 10 to April 14 — registration and abstract submission (http://conference.ikir.ru);
• May 12 to May 23 — time for the Scientific Committee to decide on abstract acceptance and to notify the authors about the decision;
• June 2 to June 30 — acceptance of the Conference fee. The Conference fee is 7 000 rubles. No Conference fee is charged from the participants with on-line presentations from abroad due to the difficulties of international money transfers;
• July 1 to September 1 — submission of manuscripts in English for «Springer Proceedings in Earth and Environmental Sciences»;
• October 6 to October 20 — submission of manuscripts for «Bulletin of KRASEC. Physical & Mathematical Sciences».

 Registration and abstract submission is available until May 4 inclusively.
