Vertical temperature variations in winter atmosphere above Yakutsk by optical measurement data

  1. Institute of cosmophysical research and aeronomy SB RAS, Russia

The results of simultaneous measurements of atmospheric temperature from 0
to 100 km by lidar, spectrometric and interferometric methods in winter
2008 in Yakutsk are presented. It is shown, that vertical temperature
profile structure during stratospheric warming undergoes antiphase
variations and determined by upward propagation of planetary waves.
