MODELS GEOPHYSICAL ANOMALIES IN THE RESULT OF SEISMOTECTONIC PROCESSES

Since the early works of F. Reid many models on physics and dynamics of earthquake source and seismic
process in general have been developed. Improvement of the approaches to seismicity modeling, based on the
theory of interaction of all the Earth’s geospheres, the model of block structure of geophysical environment, wave
nature of the seismic process, creates a new problem associated with the possibility of formation of geophysical
fields as a result of global geodynamic processes. Spatial distribution of geophysical fields and their dynamic
(time) anomalies in the form of geophysical precursors of earthquakes during the formation and destruction of a
consolidation zone at different time scales can not be attributed only to local causes. The traditional idea on the
possibility of local anomalies in the allocation of a precursor from an emerging focus of an earthquake must be
transformed into an uncertainty of spatial position commensurate with the consolidation region, the wavelength
of slow gravity waves and the interaction of geophysical mediums in transitional zones. Hence, apparently,
numerous erroneous predictions in determining earthquake location appear. Despite the attractiveness of the
developed systems of earthquake prediction, the interpretation of manifestation of preparing earthquake signs
in physical fields is carried out with no consideration of block structure of the lithosphere, wave and vortex
properties of the geosphere. In the framework of these models the developed concepts of prediction should be
considered as a general problem of monitoring of the changing stress state of the lithosphere in global process
of energy self-organization of Geospheres in the result of initiating influence of cosmic factors forming physical
fields.
