Cases of observation of volcanic aerosol layers above Yakutsk

Cases of observation of volcanic aerosol layers above Yakutsk on Lidar sounding data are described. It
is showed that the observed aerosol layers are localized in regions of tropopause and lower stratosphere. The
behavior of AOD and of other atmospheric optical characteristics is investigated on "AERONET" sunphotometer
data. The analysis of back trajectories of aerosol mass motion for the identiﬁcation of the sources of volcanic
ejections was carried out.
