Experimental data of the counting rate of neutron monitor at «Yakut cosmic ray spectrograph of A.I.
Kuzmin» station (105 m over the sea level) are presented during the passage of charged clouds over the instal-
lation for the storm season of 2009 (May - August). Electric field variations are registered by a electrostatic
fluxmeter manufactured by RRI with the measurement range of ±50 kV/m. It was determined that during long
increases ( 5 hours) of field intensity on the averageby 7 kV/m, regarding fair weather level, the reduction of
counting rate of the neutron monitor is observed on the average by 0,5 percent. The effect was also observed
individually on all the 12 days when long change of electric field during the passage of charged clouds was
registered. For six events of rather shorter increases ( 1 hour) of the field intensity on the average by 5 kV/m,
regarding fair weather level, the reduction of the counting rate of the neutron monitor on the average by 0,25
percent was also observed in all the events. The effect was also observed individually on all the six days.
