DIRECTION FINDING OBSERVATIONS DURING THUNDERSTORM PASSING OVER KAMCHATKA

Thunderstorm registration was carried out in July-August, 2009 by the means of VLF direction finder.
Thunderstorms were also observed sometimes by sight which is a seldom phenomenon for Kamchatka. Tem-
poral forms of the received radiation, its frequency characteristics, azimuthal distribution of the quantity of
thunderstorm discharges during thunderstorm passage were obtained.
