ELF-FREQUENCY RANGE NATURAL ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION VARIATIONS ACCORDING TO THE MEASUREMENTS WITH UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC ANTENNA

We generalize the experience of continuous electromagnetic measurements in the range of 30 – 1200 Hz
which were carried out with the use of an underground electric antenna of an original design since 2003 on the
territory of the Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskii geodynamic area. Antenna basic element is the casing tube of a
deep borehole. The data on the technique and technics of the measurements, the basic results of the research
in comparison with the results of borehole geoacoustic measurements, and monitoring of water density in the
boreholes etc are presented. The expediency of application of the systems with underground electric antennas
to monitor the geoenvironment stress-strained condition and short-term prediction of earthquakes is shown.
