Low-mode geodynamo model

We consider the low-moded geodynamo model in which the structure of poloidal field of velocities is coor-
dinated with the data on density distribution in the Earth’s liquid core. The model includes two temperature
components: one poloidal velocity component and two toroidal coriolis force modeling components. Magnetic
field is represented by the main dipole and by seven modes which are structurally coordinated with velocity
modes.
It is shown that with core parameters used in the geodynamo theory in the given model the main dipole is
maintained and field reversal is possible.
Calculation results and diagrams are given.
