Solar activity influence on cloud cover in the North-East of Asia

Influence of solar-terrestrial relationship on spatial-temporal dynamics of cloudiness in the North-East of
Asia are carried out in IKFIA SB RAS.
NOAA satellite data (1997-2009) were processed and summary maps of low, high and total cloud cover with
resolution of 1x1 degree were drawn. Variations of cloud cover depending on the phases of minimum (1997-1998,
2008-2009) and maximum (2000-2002) of the 23rd solar cycle were considered.
A noticeable influence of solar activity on spatial-temporal dynamics of cloudiness was shown.
