According to results of lidar observations carried out in Kamchatka from October, 2007 to December, 2010 the behavior of aerosol vertical structure within height of 30-80 km is analyzed. The obtained data revealed regular aerosol appearance in winter in the upper stratosphere and mesosphere at height of 60-75 km. Aerosol scattering at this altitude is observed from the end of October to March-April. During the warm season, from April to October, lidar signals correspond well to Rayleigh molecular scattering.
