THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY ACCORDING TO ELF OBSERVATIONS AT KAMCHATKA

  1. Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Radio Wave Propagation, Mirnaya 7, Paratunka, Kamchatka krai

The azimuthal distribution of thunderstorm discharges and cyclone epicenters at distance up to 4000 km from the observation point at Kamchatka is shown. Azimuths of thunderstorm discharges were determined using the ELF finder, and cyclone epicenters were determined from meteorological maps. Time dependences of the distribution of received radiations from thunderstorm discharges have been obtained.
