A method for modeling and analyzing ionospheric parameters is proposed. It is based on the combination of wavelet transform with autoregressive integrated moving average models. The method allows one to identify patterns in ionospheric parameters and obtain a variations forecast. It can also be used to fill in gaps in ionosphere parameters, taking into account their daily and seasonal variation. The method was tested on foF2 data and total electron content data for Kamchatka and Magadan regions. The constructed models of ionospheric parameter natural variations allowed us to analyze ionosphere dynamic regime and make five-hr-ahead forecast. Based on the estimation of model errors, anomalies, which occurred during increased solar activity and strong earthquakes in Kamchatka, were identified.
