Analysis and interpretation of geophysical parameters based on multicomponent models.

The book describes a new class of models, methods and computational algorithms developed to solve the problem of intelligent analysis of complex-structure geophysical data. The models of ionospheric parameters, constructed by the authors, and computational algorithms, developed on their basis, are presented. They make it possible to distinguish characteristic features and detect anomalies which occur during ionospheric disturbances. Processing of large volumes of statistical information for the period 1969-2011 was carried out, software modules for the identification of anomalous features in ionospheric parameters and their interpretation were developed. The book will be useful for the researchers and specialists interested in modern approaches to create systems for modeling and analyzing complex-structure data, as well as for undergraduates and postgraduates dealing with statistical data processing and analysis in various applied fields.
